We call our villa “Rocca di Benano.” You can call it home on your next Italian vacation

The Villa – With 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, up to 10 friends or family can vacation together in the comfort of a carefully renovated 1,000 year-old house. The tiny walled village of Benano is about 20 minutes from Orvieto, making it a perfect home base for day trips to some of the best parts of Tuscany, Umbria, and Lazio, important italian regions.

The villa sits on a tiny piazza facing a small church. Guests experience Italy as few tourists do. You can meet the neighbors who gather around a table in the piazza on summer evenings, sharing homemade wine and shelling peas. Watch them work the meticulously maintained olive grove on the facing hillside. And join the ladies of the village shopping from the merchant trucks that pull up to the gate of the village.

Guests experience the little town as locals do. Choose your private Italian Rental Villa carefully. Choose modern comforts wrapped in old world character. Get more information and details about the villa details.

About the Villa Rocca di Benano

Our stay at Rocca di Benano was simply perfect. The house is perfect for a group. The layout is nice as it provides separation and privacy with the bedrooms and bathrooms on multiple levels. The living room is a warm gathering spot. In addition, all the details the owners provide of places to visit and distance from the house was so helpful and made our day trips much easier. We needed more than a week to do everything we wanted, but we fit enough in to create memories to last a lifetime.

BOB G. – Danville, CA

The best benefit of Rocca Benano is the unbelievably helpful owner who assisted us in every way imaginable and enriched our experiences significantly. If you’re looking for an Italian vacation away from the big cities and want a taste of the authentic Umbrian country life you can’t go wrong with Rocca Benano.

BOB F. – Charleston, SC

The villa looked too amazing to be real. But our expectations were exceeded the moment house manager Alex let us in the door of Rocca di Benano. We spent 21 incredible days exploring known destinations such as Assisi, Florence, Rome and Siena. All were doable day trips from Benano and we returned each night to the luxurious beds and delectable house wines provided by the owners of Rocca di Benano.

LAURA H. – Boise, ID

Words just can’t begin to describe how phenomenal the villa is. Quaint, comfortable, centrally located, heated and air conditioned, a magnificent fireplace, comfortable beds, just an overall wonderful villa with no surprises and everything we could possibly want or need.

RICH A. – Cincinnati, OH

We were a group of three couples and absolutely loved our time in Benano. It was the perfect place for exploring Umbria and Tuscany. The villa is an easy drive to many of the highlights of the region such as Assisi, Orvieto, and Civita. What really made things great was all the suggestions and guidance from Karen. She really wants guests to have a fantastic experience and goes above and beyond to ensure that you do. Bottom line is you won’t be disappointed if you choose to stay in Benano.

NATHAN L. – Phoenix, AZ

Actually, our trip began before we even arrived as the owners mailed us a booklet which contained helpful information regarding our travel from Rome to Benano, sights along the way to consider seeing, where to stop and shop for groceries, driving route suggestions, local towns of interest to visit and helpful details about the Villa, such as the amenities we could expect to find.

ELAINE P. – Wake Forest, NC

Our stay was everything we had hoped for. This is a great, quite location that really allows you to take in Italy as you choose. You can take in a hectic day in Rome, or Florence, or just enjoy the beautiful Italian countryside with all the small towns. The owner does a fantastic job in providing you with all the little details that you may need. She has an excellent team with Alex and Olga managing the property.

JAMES O. – Redmond, OR

After four very hectic days in Rome, our group of five couples was ready for the slower pace of Umbria. We were delighted with the villa. It was everything that the photos and owner had promised.

SALLY C. – Cincinnati, OH
